FAT ØL

A foil label from the bottleYa gotta love a beer named FAT ØL! I got this label off a bottle while I was up in Oslo Norway visiting the former site of the NR JOIC (Northern Region Joint Operational Intelligence Center), a US facility at the NATO headquarters that was in a bunker that got closed down. Norwegian beer is graded by its alcohol content. The higher the alcohol content, the higher the class. The higher the class, the greater the tax. FAT ØL is a class 2 beer (you can read it off the label - KLASSE II) - medium high alcohol content. "Fat Øl" translates literally to "Draft Beer." The Frydenlund brewery in Oslo is owned by the Ringnes Brewing conglomerate.
