In the year 1809 on the 15th of August, at 9 o'clock in the morning, in the presence of myself, Jean Daniel Witt, Second Assistant Mayor, registrar of the village of Kaiserslautern, in the township of the same name, in the department of Mount Thunder, appeared before me Mr. Henry Joseph VOGT, 47 years old, Justice of the Peace and Officer of the Criminal Investigation Department in the township of Kaiserslautern, living in the aforesaid village of Kaiserslautern, and was presented to me a female child, born 14 August at 5 o'clock in the evening, which he declared that he and his wife, Lady Catherine RETTIG want to give the given name of
Maximilienne
The aforementioned declaration and presentation was made in the presence of Misters Francois Daniel RETTIG, 42 years old, chief of the forestry planning office, and Henry Guillaume Mullinghoff, 30 years old, [l'harmagieu], both of them living in Kaiserslautern.
The father and witnesses have signed the present act of birth with me, after reading it and attesting to its truth.
