Hi, I do genealogy myself and am descended down through Patrick Carroll, Johanna Mary Carroll’s Brother. My Mother’s maiden name is Mary Carroll. Her father was Thomas Carroll, son of John Carroll whose father was Patrick, the brother of Johanna Mary. Patrick married Johanna McGrath, Michael John’s McGrath’s brother. While looking into the Irish Genealogy website that list Kerry birth/baptism and marriage doc.s (as they scan them) I’m sure that the McGrath /MaGrath and Carroll/Carrol families married several generations before 1868/1873. But …………… who knows for sure at this point…Several years ago a cousin in Boston sent me a family tree she had written out that showed the connection to the Buttimer, McGraths and Griffin family’s to my own and from there have been in the hunt so to speak. ..
