Mostly Complete for the Season (Mid Nov 2002)

After installing all the decking boards, I bought a new 40-tooth (finish) blade for my Skil-Saw, snapped a chalk-line along the three edges of the deck, and trimmed off the excess boards to a nice even edge. Before the snow flies too badly, I'm hoping to add a skirt to the outer joists (visible just below the decking boards in this photo) to cover up the old wood that has an opaque brown stain on it. Next spring, I'll rebuild the stairs (including 3 new footings).
